Two beachy cards

(This is my second post today)

I love tropical beaches (haven't been to one in too long) and so I just had to make something for all the challenges which a beach theme! Look at the gorgeous inspiration pictures further down - don't they make you dream?

I wanted to use that framed beach scene from Stampendous. I stamped it in black and then embossed it in white to see which one I would like better. Then I watercolored both. They look very different but I like them both.

The do look very different and I think they both work incredibly well. The white embossing gives a a softer look and a dreamy quality, whilst the other is bolder and more classical. Both show your skill! Thank you for joining us at Inkspirational Challenges. Come back next time! Marina

Hach ja, das Meer, ich liebe es!!! Und Deine Karten sind wunderschön, wobei mir die erste etwas besser gefällt, durch die weiße Umrandung wirkt es richtig echt!!

Wow! Your water coloring is fantastic! That scene looks wonderful. I think my preference is the white embossed just because the softer look is very unique. Simply beautiful! Thanks for playing with us at Inkspirational!

Beautiful beach scenes, Susanne ... lovely soft watercolouring ... I can almost hear the waves lapping gently on those tropical shores! I'm particularly taken with the white embossed one ... so I'm imagining too! Hugs, Anita :)

Both cards are absolutely stunning! Changing the embossing colour really gives different looks. Sorry I'm so late commenting, thanks for playing along with The Male Room's Vacation/Beach challenge!

PS I think my favourite is the black image.
